1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Encyclix (“the Platform”), operated by Encyclix Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1.1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. By using Encyclix, you represent that you meet this requirement.
1.2. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-platform notification.
2. User Accounts
Account creation and authentication is handled via Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
2.1. Subscription Tiers
Encyclix offers four user tiers: Explorer (free), Operator, Analyst, and Investigator. Each tier provides different levels of access to indicators, forecasts, and research tools. Tier features and pricing are described on the Pricing page.
2.2. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or attempt to circumvent access controls. You may delete your account at any time from your Account Settings.
3. Data and Content
Encyclix provides macroeconomic data sourced from official statistical agencies. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all data is error-free. Data is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute financial advice.
3.1. Intellectual Property
Editorial content, commentary, forecasts, UI design, and the PreCog engine are the intellectual property of Encyclix Ltd. Underlying economic data from public agencies remains in the public domain as per each source’s terms.
3.2. Permitted Use
You may access and use the Platform for personal or internal business purposes according to your subscription tier. You may not redistribute, resell, or systematically extract data from the Platform without prior written permission.
4. Payments and Billing
Paid subscriptions are processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
FORECASTS GENERATED BY PRECOG ARE STATISTICAL PROJECTIONS AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR FINANCIAL DECISIONS.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Encyclix Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
